House of Cards is an art project for exhibitions where I interpret and am inspired by Tarot, occultism and traditional divination in the form of drawings, Objet Trouvé sculptures and a graphic novel titled "Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow".
From this project have grown my (currently WIP) fully illustrated Tarot Deck with the same title. The art work created for this deck aim to function both as Tarot Cards following the Waite-Smith symbolism for fortune telling, and as individual works of art separate from the Tarot cards in which they have their foundation.

"Den röda planeten" (The Red Planet) - 2013 Commisioned by Kalmar Municipality for Trekanten School. The installation is acrylic, wax crayon and gouache original art work printed on wall mounted acrylic glas set at a small distance to the wall.

"Papperets dröm" (The Paper Dreaming) - 2020
Commisioned by Torsås Municipality for Bergkvara Preschool. The installation is made with a psaligrafi (cut paper) technique with handcut and handcoloured (acrylic pens) paper framed behind acrylic glas set a against an abstract mural.

Den konstnärliga gestaltningen “Papperets dröm” inbjuder till reflektioner och samtal, vänder på perspektiv och kittlar fantasin. Den leker med känslan av det oväntade, att locka betraktaren att se världen omkring sig ur ett nytt perspektiv.
Geometriska former i en abstrakt komposition möter det skurna papperets skira och visuellt taktila natur.
I verket ryms såväl varelser från fantasin, naturen och folktron samt riktmärken som låter betraktaren identifiera sig lokalt med riktmärken från Bergkvara där verket är placerat så som t.ex fyren Garpen.
Verkets storlek och placering gör att den kan betraktas såväl från långt håll som nära inpå och
bjuder dig in. Korridoren i sig själv blir en del av inramningen och att närma sig verket är spännande
med nya detaljer och färger, en ny dynamik, som framträder.
En fantasieggande gestaltning som uppmuntrar till nya perspektiv, samtal och nyfikenhet.En gestaltning kopplad till skolan som plats men som väcker tankar bortom din nuvarande plats, som är lekfull men inte barnslig, och som kan utforskas och väcka tankar under lång tid.

As Above So Below explores through the Objet Trouvés of altered porcelain tchotchkes a juxtaposition of the familiar and the unfamiliar, the conscious and the subconscious. Fragile idealized female figurines reveal a contrasting inner life through new, altered surfaces.
"Figurines of women, originally delicate and gentle ones, are spiced with dramatic splashes of colour and sharp nails. Kläpp furnishes them with integrity, and since the thorns are directed outward also provides them with a form of restoration as strong-willed individuals. Those who have previously only been regarded now clearly say their piece"

Life and death, flowering and withering, the beautiful and the bizarre, inner and outer transformation - intertwine and challenge each other in the collected works of the project. Alchymista is rooted in the artist's deep fascination with alchemy, an age-old teaching that explores the purification and transformation of materials, as well as the physical and spiritual dimensions of the creative process. A string telephone from the philosophy and myths of antiquity to the séances of the Victorians, where intertwined cultural currents stretch through time and space.
Alchymista is a meditation that raises awareness around the idea of change and metamorphosis, where everything that exists is constantly transformed into something else. An exploration of the inextricable nature of change and the invisible link that unites all things.
Transformation, dissolution and the border from living to dead - contrasting phenomena are brought together and provide a journey along paths of discomfort and euphoria in surreal images.
A vibrant palette of colors and gold rises to the surface like an illumination of the alchemical process, revealing the connection between the material and concrete and the subtle and immaterial within and around us. Bones, blood, tears and pearls acquire a deep symbolic meaning and convey secret messages. A fascinating world emerges where contrasts and interweaving create an aesthetic experience that brings to mind both the fantastic and the real, the inner and the outer, and the ever-changing.
My art, illustrations and sequential novels have been shown in solo exhibitions in Sweden and in group exhibitions of selected artists and graphic novelists in Sweden and internationally. I love working with an exhibition space to develop a narrative within the room that heightens the work shown and to encourage the vistors to find their own emotional narrative within the works shown.
